When colleagues at Q Prime offered the chance to have Cage the Elephant lead singer Matt Shultz sketch a listener's pet, I said, "awwwwww!" and then got to work, publishing an online contest for listeners to upload their pet photos for the chance at this very special "paw-parazzi" moment.

Wanting to maximize the chance to localize the promotion, I collaborated with Entercom sales to tie-in a third-party sponsor of the program who would donate $1 for every photo submitted to a local pet charity, raising more than $200. The winning dog was more than ready for his close-up and even kissed Matt upon seeing his likeness!
