Voting Rights

As someone who has voted in every election since she turned 18, I love the ease that vote-by-mail affords our fellow Oregonians and I’m passionate about improving ballot access across the country. During the 2018 midterm elections, as I sat at my kitchen table in my pajamas, with my cat comfortably in my lap, filling out my ballot at my leisure, I knew I had to illustrate how easy it is to vote in Oregon compared to other states. I shared this Facebook post to argue that every state should let its citizens be this comfortable while voting and to my surprise, my post was shared more than 33,000 times.

Broadcast Media for Indie Music Lovers

I loved developing a witty, down-to-earth, relatable brand voice for 94/7 Alternative Portland across many platforms, including broadcast, print, digital, e-mail, mobile, and social media.

Girls (Inc.) Runs the World

An incredible non-profit called Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold, so it was a real treat to write a script for their Power of the Purse fundraising event. The Power of the Purse pairs women and men of influence in our community with talented local designers to craft one-of-a-kind purses, auctioned off to the highest bidder to bring proceeds to the empowering work of Girls Inc. programs. The scripts that I wrote were spoken aloud during the auction to inform the audience and pique the interest of potential bidders.
